Alberta Fishing Guide Magazine

2016 Alberta Fishing Guide MagazineIn 2013 we purchased the Alberta Fishing Guide Magazine from our good friend & mentor, Barry Mitchell. Barry has since passed on, but we bought the magazine to honor his legacy, the anglers of Alberta, and to represent the incredible angling our home province of Alberta, Canada has to offer. Each year we comb through the list of contacts to seek out new information to provide in the back 1/2 of this publication, which lists and shares the how-to, where-to of more than 1400 lakes, rivers, and streams in Alberta, Canada. It is quite a unique magazine as it is updated so frequently. The front 1/2 of our magazine is a dozen articles that feature new articles about how to catch Alberta’s fish, where to find them. It features many of Alberta’s favorite writers.

Jay Jones – “Spring on the Bow”
Jeremy Davies – “July on the Crow’, Fishing the Crowsnest at its peak”
Jim McLennan – “6 Great Trout Houses”
Wes David – “Understanding Southern Alberta’s Reservoir Walleye”
Chris Kindraka – “Inside Today’s Walleye Boat”
Jeff Lauze – “Walleye on the Fly”
Neil Waugh – “A Capital Diet: Fishing Within a 100-Mile Radius of Edmonton”
T.J. Schwanky – “Top-10: Alberta’s Must Have Lures”
Brad Fenson: “Three Seasons of Northern Pike”
Fred Noddin: “Off the Wall Crazy Techniques That Work!”
Nick Sliwkanich: “Meat & Potatoes: Six Staple Tactics for Stillwater Success”
