Kilpatrick Fly Fishers Jamboree, Saskatoon, Saturday, April 23, 2014.

Shadow LinesIf you are in Saskatoon this weekend, we’ll be putting on a pretty graphic – errr – wonderful slide & video presentation for the Kilpatrick Fly Fishing folks on Sat, April 23, 2016. It has taken a rather Herculean effort to weed the photos down to 1/10 of what we started with but honestly, the photos and stories look pretty good. We’re taking a tour of “Fly Fish Alberta” for the morning, followed by a well-rounded tour of the S Island of New Zealand before finishing the day with a few of our favorite moments from Fortress Lake. Amelia will be sharing some of more recent watercolor paintings and canvas prints as well – there are some neat ones we simply haven’t had time to share on the website! Hope to see you there!

Thank you Amelia and Dave for a great talk today. I’ve always been interested in the Ram River since I first heard about, in an article I think you wrote, now I do have to get there someday. Also your talk about New Zealand reminded me why it’s on my bucket list of places to go fish someday. Your photography and videos are awesome as well. Again thank you.

Evan & Lyle. Thank you! It was great to come out and share the new presentations with your club. There’s a lot to share and we’re glad that it was of use to your club. Hopefully a number of your club do make it out to fish Alberta and you do get to New Zealand. It’s a long ways to travel but so worth the trip. ๐Ÿ™‚ We’ll make sure we put those flies to use as they look like they’ll literally catch trout anywhere. ๐Ÿ™‚ Hopefully we can come out that way once more! We’re very appreciate of everyone’s support and how wonderful a facility you have for guest speakers to present. The ease of set up was fantastic and the audio/visual is exceptional. It was a wonderful weekend – thanks to everyone. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for the wonderful presentation you provided all of us in Saskatoon last weekend. You guys did a wonderful job at sharing your enthusiasm for the sport of fly fishing and making it obvious why anyone could get enthused about it.
I really appreciated the level of detail that you were willing to share about places to fish in Alberta. I haven’t fished much in Alberta, mainly because I have very little free time, and don’t want to “waste” it prospecting unknown waters that I may never get back to. After your presentation, I am very confident that I will be making a trip out to the rivers in Alberta this year because of the information you provided. Thank you so much.

A special thanks to everyone from the Kilpatrick club! The folks are simply wonderful in Saskatoon. ๐Ÿ™‚ Jeepers you all took great care of us and are simply a great group. The facilities made for the easiest set up we’ve encountered and the audio/visuals are wonderful with your set up. We’re glad that we could come out that way to share what we have right next door. Of course, we’ll be out in SK this season poking around a couple of places as they have long been on our list of places to fish. A special thanks as we had a whale of a great time with you all ~ Amelia & Dave. ๐Ÿ™‚
