New Video! God Save The Queen & The Dreaded Downstream Take

“As good as gold” doesn’t cut it. “Ya stuffed it, mate” does. There are a series of things that will induce the dreaded downstream take, and if you aren’t prepared for it you simply have no chance of a firm hook set and that means a lot of lost trout. And if they’re methodically coming downstream, it’s likely you just lost a 2 foot+ trout and nobody wants that. So how do you compensate for those moments? No matter where you fly fish, this will be something you have to be aware of, present to, and compensate for.
