Sometimes we run into situations that we’re simply unprepared for in fly fishing. Weather, hatches, water speed and clarity, and so many factors can conspire to take an anticipated great day out and flush it. But sometimes a challenging moment can be overcome with a little imagination using what we already have with us. In this case, we look at the epic footage of Sharptail Media blended with our own, as damsel and dragon-fly events occur. How do you fish that hatch on fully feeding fish that are keyed only to that hatch if you don’t have anything that looks like those insects?
