Every stocked trout lake has to get stocked. Spring is usually the big push but fall can also be a busy month for our stocking programs. Once at the desired size, trout are transported from the rearing station/ hatchery to the lake. “Moving Day” is that day. It’s an interesting time as many factors have to align in order things go as smoothly as possible. We joined Brian Charles & his co-staff at Alberta’s Raven Brood Trout Station as brook & rainbow trout are stocked into central Alberta’s Birch Lake.
